    I’m trying to imagine that I didn’t already have them tattooed into the electronic files in my brain…. Let’s see… be objective… I would’ve probably picked the guy looking straight at the camera instead of Mr. Mustache doing the coy profile thing.

    There is no leader. They are Hall and Oates. They are a package deal. Note the lackluster solo career of Just Plain Hall. Note that Just Plain Oates didn’t even bother trying. It’s kind of like asking someone (obviously a Christian someone) to pick between God or Jesus. Can’t be done.

    Ooh, I almost forgot a stupid story I once heard about them. Apparently, a fan came backstage after one of their concerts and asked which one of them was Holland Oates. So, if Holland Oates is the leader, my earlier point is made. They are one.

    I keep coming back to this photo. I’m struck by how much it looks like a poster for a gay porn. Or just a gay drama. (My roommate watches a lot of the HERE channel, so I would know.)

    I can never remember which one is which, and although I have to admit that Beckeye makes an excellent point that they are one and the same, I’ll have to go with non-moustachio. Moustache guy looks submissive.

    I don’t really think you can determine the leader strictly by the photo, but if I did I’d say the guy without the mustache. He is looking like he has that “in charge look”. Where the mustached guy is kind of looking shy and downward. Based on the picture I’d say it is blondie.
