Wow, this was a squeaker! Analyzing pictures of bands consisting of related individuals (particularly identical twins) ain’t easy! I’ll postpone my upcoming Ramones post so we can have some more time to recover.

When I first selected this picture I couldn’t really see who was in charge, and it wasn’t until people started voting that one of the Proclaimers’ photodominance became evident.

Now when I look at Lefty I can’t help but see the smoldering, confident gaze of actor David Caruso (which is something you don’t want to really see, honestly). Congrats, Lefty! Keep on smolderin’!

    This isn’t fair anymore… Everyone knows identical twins are telepathic with each other and therefore neither can be the leader.

    Since this is a tight shot we can’t tell if they are actually conjoined twins which would make this a trick question. Even then though, only one head could be in charge or at least dominant.

    So I shall go with Dude on Left because he is staring at us with confidence, while the other one looks like he is trying to focus his bifocals.

    if they were dressed identical, i’d have to say their mom was in charge, but guy on the left is breaking out by opening his coat against mom’s wishes. He’s in charge.

    Being that they’re Scottish, I vote for Rod Stewart (not pictured). As a parent, I could never choose between twins.

    it’s gotta be the guy on the left. head forward & not tilted, larger in frame, shoulderline higher, colorful collar visible. it’s almost as if the guy on the right sneaked into the picture at the last second.

    The twin on the left with the turtleneck is in charge. The other squintier Proclaimer is slightly more short-sighted, and therefore has to rely on his brother.

    Turtleneck (left) is in charge. He was probably first one out; obviously he’s the alpha twin. The other one is clearly the bodhran player.
